June 10, 2011

Now in its seventh year, Judgestock, formerly known as Fudgestock, returns to The Public on Saturday 11 June.

With three stages of live music, numerous market stalls and a host of kids activities planned throughout the day, the Black Country arts centre is once again set to be transformed into its own mini Glastonbury. With live performances from tribute acts, Crazy Horses, Resould and 51 Stone, some of the region’s finest acoustic artists, and an indie rock stage headlined by local artists The Yams, the annual festival promises to bigger and better than ever.

Throughout the day, a host of fun-filled activities will be taking place for the whole family, including face painting, a children’s tattoo artist and bouncy castle adding to the party atmosphere. This year visitors will also have the opportunity to buy Judgestock merchandise from The Public’s ‘make’ gift shop, taking away their own specially designed t-shirts and mugs, as well as enjoying delicious festival food from PinkTank Café.

In 2011, proceeds from the festival will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
