Featured Creative: Craig Orgill (Fine Artist)

May 10, 2011

Hard at Work!

I am a Fine Artist and have completed several art courses, achieving a BA in Fine Art 2:1 in 2007. I produce both sculpture and drawings although I have also done installation and video work. You can check out some of my work here…

The main media I use are wire, clay, plaster and pencil. A lot of my past work has used my interest in science as a basis, but imagination has also played a part in the creation of objects, narratives and characters.

I also have interest in old armour and have made both medieval helmets and chain mail. Finally I have also worked with a theatre company, helping to construct and decorate sets for a production that took place in Wolverhampton.

Clay Model: Tuttankhamun

I have had been part of several exhibitions from Wightwick Manor: Making Art History to the Museum of Cannock Chase Open Art.

You can keep up to date with what i’m doing by keeping an eye on my blog! For more information check out my artists page!
